Building Connections and Supporting Success with Children with Challenging Behaviors

Early appearing behavior problems in a child's preschool career are the single best predictor of delinquency in adolescence, gang membership, and adult incarceration. Problem behavior is the most common reason students are removed from the general education classroom. Problematic behavior can be very frustrating to school teams, causing high rates of staff turnover.  To change behaviors, we have to be the ones to change.  We have to focus on building connections with children.  Connections on the outside, build connections on this inside.

In this 80-page eBook, you will receive everything you need to build stronger connections with children with challenging behavior.  You will receive strategies, resources, and tips for reducing challenging behavior.  In the final chapters of the book, you will receive tips for collaborating with others, consulting with others, and how to communicate with people about change.

eBook #2

Functional Behavior Assessment: In Four Steps

As a teacher or therapist working with children, you know that understanding your students' behavior is the key to success. A solid functional behavioral assessment can be an effective tool for helping everybody understand the student's behavior better. They enable teams like yours to clarify what's making school difficult for your student.

This book provides you with all the tools you need to perform a functional behavioral assessment successfully. I will walk you through each step of the process; give you different FBA templates, and provide you with two examples of completed functional behavioral assessments. You will also receive a video on analyzing data through an excel template (provided).

I know, first hand, that performing functional behavior assessments can be intimidating and overwhelming; I will make it simple for you and guide you along the way.
